Jhilimili and Biharinath Hill lie toward the Ranibandh side of Bankura district, roughly 60-70 km from Bankura town — further than the other day-trip destinations, so it's best treated as a full-day outing rather than a quick half-day trip. Jhilimili is known for its sal forest, and Biharinath is the highest hill in Bankura district, both quieter and less developed than Bishnupur or Mukutmanipur.

Jhilimili and Biharinath Hill sit roughly in the same direction out of Bankura town, toward the district's southwestern forest belt near Ranibandh — the part of Bankura that starts resembling the wooded, undulating terrain of neighbouring Purulia and Jharkhand more than the flat agricultural land closer to town.
